It's true! I love aprons. I love them so much. I can't cook without one. Can't bath the children without one of them. Absolutely can't live without them.
So why am I going on about aprons today you ask? Well, I won an apron on a giveaway over at Short Fat Mormon Chick (check her out!) I am so excited! She emailed me to try to find out my style, size and what not. I thought I would post on here to show you some of the aprons that I totally adore!
To start with there's the chick that I totally love over at A Quilt and a Cake that makes really cute aprons and sells them in her Etsy shop. I would love to have one of each of these aprons. You so need to check her shop. She always has fun ideas going on. I know for certain that she is sewing like mad for Christmas.
Anyway, here are a couple of her aprons that I totally love:
Over at Overstock I love this one:
And how are these ones at Hostess Blog for fun?!
I love this clothespin apron from Retro Mama. It's just so fun and it would make even the most stubborn person want to hang their clothes out on the line.
And I REALLY love this one from Busy b aprons:
This one over at Mama's Pocketbook doesn't look like it would be too hard to make. I love it. Simple. Practical. Lovely.
Now this one has style! You could wear it almost as a cute skirt if the back was finished. I found it over at Mommies with Style:
Don't you just want to wear one? Are you an apron person? What's your type? I wish I had them all. Sick, I know. I can't help myself.

I love aprons, too. I'm really on an apron kick right now, plannning to make some as Christmas gifts, including for my kids. I actually have one like the one from Overstock. Mine is brown and turquoise paisley.
I like aprons. I don't have one. I've been on the lookout for a really awesome mod one but have yet to find one that I like and can afford.
So I stumbled onto your blog from Laura O'Hearon's blog cuz I saw the apron picture on her sidebar....I LOVE aprons! I just bought the CUTEST apron from Anthropologie....it seriously makes cooking/cleaning/motherhood sooo much more fun when you have a cute apron to wear!! I love the ones you posted!
Thank you guys.
Tami, I am doing the same thing. I am getting tired of them using mine.
Hey Kristi, aprons are very easy to sew, why do you try out a funky pattern. There are a tonne on ebay.
Becca Jane, it's good to have you here. I am going over to check out your blog. Feel free to drop by anytime. Love a new voice.
I'm one step ahead of ya!
